Technical Assistance

The Safe, Clean Water Program provides support to community groups, municipalities, and individuals who need assistance developing their project concepts and applications.

It also provides resources for those interested in learning more about their watershed or getting involved in the Program.

If you have an idea for a project but are in need of additional support, Safe, Clean Water’s Technical Resources Program can help. It provides dedicated watershed coordinators for each LA County watershed, technical assistance teams comprised of subject matter experts, and funding and support for the development of feasibility studies, which are required as part of the infrastructure project application.

Watershed coordinators are here to support from project idea to implementation and beyond. Their role is to support project proponents, educate and build capacity in watershed areas, and facilitate community engagement with the Safe, Clean Water Program.

Feasibility studies are required as part of an infrastructure project application.

The technical assistance teams, as part of the Technical Resources Program, will complete feasibility studies in partnership with and on behalf of municipalities, CBOs, NGOs, and others who don’t have the technical resources or capabilities to develop feasibility studies.

If you are interested in working with the technical assistance team on your feasibility study, submit your request along with your project concept here and reach out to your watershed coordinator for support.
