Implementation Update June 2023

This newsletter provides important updates on the Regional, Municipal, and District Programs, designed to help our community stay informed and engaged. For further information on regional proposals, including those that are funded and under consideration, please visit our interactive portal.

We remain dedicated to implementing and refining the Safe, Clean Water Program, continuously seeking input and feedback from our stakeholders. We value your opinions and welcome any comments or questions you may have. Please do not hesitate to contact us.

REGIONAL PROGRAM

Regional Oversight Committee

The Regional Oversight Committee (ROC) will meet on June 15, 2023, from 1pm – 5pm. The ROC will discuss and seek input to inform the first biennial Safe, Clean Water Program Progress Report. The public’s input and participation is greatly appreciated. For more information, please visit the ROC webpage HERE.

Please save the date for all remaining ROC meetings related to the Progress Report:

  • Input Meeting: 6/15/2023, 1-5pm – Dedicated public comment to receive/discuss input to consider for the Progress Report.
  • Data Review Meeting: 8/31/2023, 1-5pm – Present/discuss reports and data to date and the Progress Report outline & recommendations.
  • Draft Report Meeting: 10/5/2023, 1-5pm – Present/discuss the draft Progress Report & initiate public comment period.
  • Final Report Meeting: 12/7/2023, 1-5pm – Present/discuss final Progress Report before submission to County Board of Supervisors.

Call For Projects FY 24-25

Call for Projects deadline is July 31, 2023. You may apply for funding HERE. Info Sessions were held on May 24th 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm; and May 25th 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. You may view the recording HERE

Stormwater Investment Plans

On April 20, the Regional Oversight Committee reviewed and advanced all nine SIPs to the Board of Supervisors for their approval. Final recommended funding scenarios can be viewed on the SIP Tool. Details of the SIP transmittals are posted on the SCW website HERE.
