After weeks of flood recovery and restoration, we’re ready to welcome you back to the Bay. Severe flooding recently impacted Heal the Bay Aquarium during a period of intense winter storms. Thanks to the extraordinary efforts of our staff and partners, our animals remained safe, and our team has been working carefully to restore the space and prepare for reopening. 

Now, we invite you to join us for a special Community Reopening Day. This day is about more than reopening our doors. It’s about resilience, community, and continuing the work we all care about. For more than 25 years, Heal the Bay Aquarium has served as a marine science and education institution on the Santa Monica Pier, connecting Angelenos and visitors to the ocean through hands-on learning, conservation, and stewardship.
