DESCRIPTION:Event guests must register two weeks prior to event and must be on tour bus that leaves LVMWD at 7:45 a.m. in order to attend;  \n9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Join us in Oxnard at the U.S. Naval Base at Port Hueneme where Valerie Vartananian\, Project Manager will show us multiple nature based solution approaches to water quality. \n12:00 –  Lunch at the Boathouse at Hendry's Beach Jill Murray\, staff scientist at Santa Barbara Creeks Division will discuss water quality testing and impacts of nature based soluitons on waterbodies in Santa Barbara \n1:00 – 4:30 Tour will go to\,– Arroyo Burro Estuary Restoration project\,– Arroyo Burro Open Space project– Permeable Pavers / Raingardens to address neighborhood water quality– Wetlands Restoration at Andreé Clark Bird Refuge \nReturn to LVMWD by or before 6;00 p.m.
