SUMMARY:ULAR: Tour of Echo Park Lake Water Quality Features
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a tour of Echo Park Lake’s water quality features\, led by LA Sanitation (LASAN). During the tour\, LASAN staff will share insights on Best Management Practices used to address local water pollution\, funded by the Safe\, Clean Water Program\, which was adopted by LA voters in 2018.\nThe tour will begin at the corner of Echo Park Ave. and Park Ave. The path around the lake is 1 mile long\, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Please note that parking is limited\, so carpooling and the use of public transportation are strongly encouraged.\n10:00am – 10:20am: Welcome\n10:20am – 10:40am: Overview of the Echo Park Lake Ecosystem\n10:40am – 11:30am: Guided walk around Echo Park Lake with stops at BMP locations\n11:30am: Closing remarks & return to first site
