DESCRIPTION:Milkweed Monarch Mash – Castaic Lake Restoration  \n \n\n\n\n\nIn partnership with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE)\, TreePeople invites you to join in planting milkweed to expand habitat for monarch butterflies and other pollinators at Castaic Lake. \nJoin us for: \n-Pollinator costume contest (all costumes welcome) \n-Narrowleaf milkweed & Coast live oak sapling giveaway \n-Safe\, Clean Water Program informational booth \n-Free\, fun and educational activities and prizes for all ages! \nDue to the location of these events and out of concern for volunteer and staff safety\, participating volunteers cannot be dropped off at volunteer events. Transportation to and from the event must be accessible at all times.
